We bring sustainability-oriented people together to inspire positive change in our community by hosting various events, such as guest speakers panels and Green Meetings, and allowing students to lead change through their own projects

Carbon Reduction Challenge

The Carbon Reduction Challenge is a competition focused on empowering students to become part of the climate change solution. Students work with an organization on a project that achieves significant reductions in carbon emissions and yields cost savings.

Compete in a semester-long “Carbon Reduction Challenge” in this interdisciplinary seminar-style course, and reduce the carbon footprint of a large organization. 

Drawdown Georgia

Drawdown Georgia is the first state-centered effort to crowdsolve for climate change, with 20 high-impact solutions that are tailored to Georgia’s unique natural, economic, and social resources. These solutions can help us keep multiple megatons of carbon out of the atmosphere
